A new location of the family-owned Mom's Organic Market supermarket group has opened at 10 Upper Rock Circle in Rockville. The Mid-Atlantic chain, which already has a store further south in the city, specializes in organic produce and other groceries, plus a wide range of naturally made and locally produced goods.
The new 16,000 square-foot operation also features beekeeping supplies, clothing, and a car-charging station, and is intended to serve Gaithersburg and beyond.
With a 4.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, it has already made a good impression.
Brad B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 7, said, "Blown away this place isn't all five stars. First off, this is the place to go if you want local, organic, holistic healthy food. The service is impeccable, the selection is phenomenal."
Yelper Allison B. added, “Finally, King Farm has a grocery store that sells sprouts! (Seriously. What grocery store doesn't sell sprouts? Ridiculous.) I love Mom's. And I'm so glad there's finally one closer to me. ...”
And Sharon W. said, "Newly opened in Gaithersburg off of Shady Grove Road this is a large, well stocked Mom's. I've only been to the Rockville store and this seems likes it's about twice the size. "
Head on over to check it out: Mom's Organic Market - Gaithersburg is open from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
