A new hair salon has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called The Mermaid SEAlon, the newcomer is located at 4301 Belmont Ave. in East Dallas.
The airy, eclectically decorated salon features plush velvet seating, mirrored tables and fruit-infused water.
It offers full-service hair care, including color, cuts and styling. You can also go in for "mermaid" extensions.
The Mermaid SEAlon has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far, so it's off to a promising start.
Kristie A., who reviewed the salon on June 2, said, "It's so girly in this salon. Blue, pink and white are the dominant colors and the big windows and natural light add to the ambiance. They have a nail salon upstairs that I'll check out soon. Check this place now!"
