Looking to chow down on some traditional American fare? Restaurant and piano bar Officers Club has you covered. The fresh addition is located at 84 Rampart Way in Lowry.
With the aesthetic of mid-century military clubs, this establishment celebrates the history of the Lowry Air Force Base and serves 10 varieties of the Old Fashioned cocktail, several wines and a selection of entrees.
Patrons can start off with New England cheddar biscuits, charcoal-fired artichokes and smoked salmon dip. Entrees include Maryland crab cakes, a Gulf Coast grouper sandwich and Southern chicken tenders.
It's still early days for the fledgling business — it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.
Anita S., who reviewed it on June 13, said, "Classy decor with the right amount of 1950s feel, without the need to have anything cheesy or obvious. The staff was welcoming and knew their stuff! My main dish was the double bacon cheeseburger with shoestring fries. It was huge with a buttery bun. Yum! The cocktail options are vast and unique; you should give them a try."
Head on over to check it out: Officers Club is open from 4-11 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 4-10 p.m on Sunday.
