A new tattoo studio has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Atlas and Anchor Tattoo, the new arrival is located at 2318 E. Carson St. in South Side Flats.

The business was established in 2017 by married couple Judah and Trisha Helsel and says it is "devoted to providing high-quality work and an enjoyable atmosphere for each and every client in our brand-new studio," per its website.

The Helsels, along with artist Douglas Lopretto, do the inking. Check out the gallery of artwork here. 

It's still early days for the fledgling business — it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.

Heather W., who reviewed the new spot on June 12, said, "By far the best shop in Pittsburgh! Judah and Trisha are dishing out the freshest tattoos around. With that in mind, the prices are definitely reasonable. Plus, everyone here is so freaking nice."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Atlas and Anchor Tattoo is open from noon–7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Tuesday and Sunday.)
