A new Turkish spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Bluemont, called Istanbul Grill VA, is located at 4617 Wilson Blvd.

Specializing in kebabs and grilled meats and seafoods, the restaurant also provides Turkish and Mediterranean-style salads, appetizers and other dishes. A large inside dining room is complemented by an outdoor dining patio.

With a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, it has already made a good impression.

Resat M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 22, wrote, "Went there with my family two weeks ago. I had the Iskender Kabob, my wife had the Mediterranean salad with salmon and my kiddo had a kid-size kofte platter with rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked."

Yelper Gerald M. added, “All in all, the food was very good, the service was excellent, and the establishment is clean and nicely done.  We'll definitely return to try some of the other entrees.”
