A new casual fusion restaurant offering Korean fare and a variety of Asian cuisines has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 3424 Fremont Ave. N in Fremont, the newcomer is called Palmi Korean Cuisine & Teriyaki.
The eatery features Korean bibimbap, kimchi jjigae (stew) and beef bulgogi, along with a variety of Asian dishes like ramen, chicken katsu, teriyaki, poke bowls and Mongolian beef. Round out your meal with sides, including pork gyoza, steamed veggies and housemade kimchi.
The new arrival has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Levita W., who reviewed the new spot on June 1, wrote, "Had the bibimbap and it was good! You get a lot for $9. The restaurant is a fast-food type of vibe and very casual, but they also serve you which was nice. A cute Korean family-owned place!"
And Nomi B. said, "Great place to eat. I tried their bibimbap and soups. If you are staying there to eat, make sure to have stone pot bibimbap. They took over the old teriyaki place and added Korean foods to their menu."
Head on over to check it out: Palmi Korean Cuisine & Teriyaki is open from 10:30 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
