Hungry for Salvadoran food? This new neighborhood spot has you covered. Called Pupusas Lover, the fresh addition is located at 2236 S. Colorado Boulevard in Southeast Denver.
In case you haven't had the chance to try one yet, a pupusa is a traditional Salvadoran dish that consists of a thick corn tortilla stuffed with one or more savory fillings.
Pupusas Lover has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Alessandra V., who was the first to review on May 28, said, "This restaurant was amazing. Not only was the food 100 percent authentic, the staff was incredibly friendly and the place spotless. Definitely recommended!"
Yelper Natasha K. added, “This is a great, authentic Salvadoran restaurant. We tried a variety of items on the menu including pan con pollo, nuegados, tamales and of course the pupusas! Great food all around, in addition to clean and friendly service.”
