A new spot to score fried chicken has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Golden Chick, the new addition is located at 13600 S. Post Oak Blvd. in Central Southwest.
This is yet another location under the Golden Fried Chicken chain that began more than 50 years ago in San Marcos, Texas. The franchise now boasts more than 150 locations throughout the region that serve up family meals, party trays, combination plates, salads and more.
On the menu, look for items like fried chicken tenders, fried chicken sandwiches, roasted chicken and fried catfish. There's also a host of sides, including mashed potatoes, green beans and dirty rice.
Thus far, Central Southwest's Golden Chick has earned one four-star rating.
"I do have to say that the rolls are amazing," Yelper Kyana said. "My only complaint, as of yet, is that the prices are high, especially when compared to other chicken places off of Post Oak."
