A new upscale Asian spot, serving sushi, cocktails, wine and more, has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Imoto, the fresh addition is located at 2400 Victory Park Lane in Victory Park.
Menu items include tempura lobster shooters with kaffir red curry and scallions; Little Sister's Korean fried chicken with gochujang butter and honey soy glaze; Vietnamese char-grilled duck spring rolls with green mango and peach-vanilla sweat and sour; and seared chicken steam buns with red chili glaze and pickled daikon radish slaw. (See the full menu here.)
With a 4-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, Imoto has made a promising start.
James M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 18, said, "We had dinner at Imoto last week and it was so good! Really nice ambiance, drinks were fantastic and food was excellent! My favorites were the seared tuna sashimi, Japanese red snapper, and can't forget the lobster shooter."
And Ann S. said, "Very neat and cool spot. Great cocktails and unique menu. Definitely adding it to our regular rotation."
