A new sports bar has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Blue Cave, the fresh arrival is located at 16640 Hawfield Way Drive in Ballantyne.
The joint offers bites like fried, grilled or blackened chicken on a pretzel roll topped with bacon, lettuce and chipotle aioli. The sides include the classics: french fries, sweet potato fries, tater tots and more.
The alcohol menu features the Prairie Mule, made of vodka, ginger beer and lime, as well as pomegranate margarita martinis.
With a three-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Blue Cave is still finding its footing, but it's early days yet.
Satya M., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 8, said, "Amazing ambience on Friday night! With DJ Eklipse."
And Joe M. said, "Sean the bartender served up great drinks for us and was a great person to talk to, extremely knowledgeable. Great selection of liquor, no cheap stuff."
