Looking to chow down on some conveyor belt sushi? A new spot has you covered. Called Sushi Train, the new arrival is located at 1200 Nicollet Ave. in Loring Park.

This new establishment is the first of its kind in the Twin Cities area, per Eater, and is modeled after a subway station with bright colors inside. A conveyor belt with sushi runs through the restaurant, and guests can pick and choose anything off as they please. Plates run from $1.50 to $5.50 and diners are charged by how many plates they grab.

Made-to-order food is also available from Sushi Train's menu. The menu includes poke bowls filled with salmon or tuna, classic rolls, ramen  and more.

With a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer has gotten a good response.

Kareem I., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 4, said, "This place is awesome for all ages! Came here on opening night, and everything was delicious and fresh. They have a large variety of items, from raw and cooked sushi rolls to sashimi, nigiri and salads."

And Barbara V. said, "Great for a first date. Talk while you wait for a specific roll to come around the conveyer belt. Order apps and drinks while waiting for a table. The miso ramen is basic, but delicious."
