Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top Filipino restaurants around Sacramento, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture when cravings strike.

1. Starbread Bakery

Topping the list is Starbread Bakery. Located at 6127 Mack Road. in Parkway, this outpost of the Bay Area-based chain is the highest rated Filipino joint in Sacramento, boasting 4.5 stars out of 358 reviews on Yelp.

Yelpers rave about its signature señorita bread: light and delicate sweetened rolls with melted butter and sugar inside. Also available are other classic Filipino treats like the carioca (skewered doughnuts with sweet glaze) and brown sugar steamed rice cakes.

2. GNC Kusina

Next up is Natomas's GNC Kusina, situated at 4301 Truxel Road. With 4.5 stars out of 138 reviews on Yelp, the quick service Filipino restaurant has proven to be a local favorite.

GNC Kusina focuses on tapsilog: sliced cured beef, served on a plate with a fried egg and garlic fried rice. But it also offers many other versions of the filling combo meal, like spamsilog (with Spam instead of beef).

3. Fil-Am Bakery & Fast Food

Another top choices is Fil-Am Bakery & Fast Food, located at 4571 Gateway Park Blvd. in Natomas, with Yelpers giving the bakery and Filipino eatery four stars out of 144 reviews.

Reviewers praise the good value of the family-owned restaurant's homestyle comfort food, as well as its classic Filipino desserts like fried banana rolls.

4. Gina's Filipino Kape
