A New American spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. The new arrival to The Junction in West Seattle, called Vine & Spoon, is located at 4706 California Ave. SW.

The restaurant is owned by the F2T Hospitality Group and is headed by executive chef Nicholas Apt, who was named one of Seattle Met's "Next Hot Chefs of 2017," per The Stranger.

Visitors can expect upscale fare with a farmers market-to-table cooking style, including offerings from land, garden and sea for vegans and carnivores alike, the new establishment says on its website.

Vine & Spoon's menu includes small bites, large plates and desserts. Start off with an appetizer like the beef tartare with poached quail egg before opting for risotto with thyme and pecorino, octopus, steak or the pork chop served with cornbread, roasted corn and blistered peppers. (See the full menu here.)

Wash down your meal with beer, wine, a nonalcoholic beverage or a cocktail like the Farmers Gatorade (ginger, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup and vodka).

The fresh arrival has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp.

Connie W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 2, said, "Hurray! Vine & Spoon is open in The Junction at West Seattle. This is just what we needed. Light, airy, contemporary; amazing raw bar and craft cocktails."

Yelper Maegan B. added, “Went for opening night and they were packed! All the food we had was amazing and cooked perfectly! Between my group of four, we had salad, oysters, beef tartare, steak, pork chops, halibut and lots of cocktails."
