Mason Eatery is open from 10 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.

Cafe Creme

Cafe Creme is a French bakery and eatery that says it has a simple mission to serve "fresh, tasty and affordable meals and drinks."

For breakfast and lunch, customers can try offerings like the goat cheese and mushroom omelet or a croissant sandwich. On the dinner menu, entrees include the steak tartare and duck confit. Catering and to-go orders are available.

The business' current Yelp rating of four stars out of five reviews indicates favorable attention from users.

Yelper Kristina F., who posted a review on June 11, wrote, "Absolutely the best quiche. I had goat cheese and wild mushroom. The owner is French and this is probably the closest thing to actually visiting Paris that you're going to get."

Alfred F. noted, "Take your coffee and pastry to the patio. Sit in the open-sided, thatched-roof hut and savor your delicious French cuisine in the outdoors."

Cafe Creme is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Ikrave

4799 N.W. Seventh Ave., Liberty City

Stop in at Ikrave for Southern-style fare like candied yams, collard greens and oxtails with grits.

Try the crispy waffles with fried chicken strips, drumsticks or a T-bone steak. Or go for a sweet red velvet waffle with vanilla glaze.

With a four-star rating out of 13 reviews on Yelp, Ikrave has received a warm reception.

Yelper Gabriel S., who reviewed it on June 2, wrote, "I say the food, staff, ambiance and vibe were spectacular! I ordered the Promise Pebble exotic waffle with Fruity Pebbles, vanilla glaze and powdered sugar on top. It came along with some turkey bacon, grits and eggs over medium. Everything was perfect!"

Trey F. noted, "Nice place for a quick bite to eat. The staff was very pleasant and the service was quick. I had the chicken strips and macaroni and cheese. The strips were OK, and the macaroni was delicious."

Ikrave is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and 7 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekends. (It's closed on Monday.)

Coop

Located inside the St. Roch Market, Coop comes courtesy of brothers Robert, Ruben and Giancarlo Rodriguez, who also started pop-up Barn Bites.

Look for made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, fried chicken served on a cheddar chive waffle with house pickled onion and a watermelon salad with arugula and walnuts. (See full menu here.)

The eatery currently holds 4.5 stars out of 30 reviews on Yelp, suggesting an auspicious start.

Yelper Shawna S., who reviewed it on March 14, wrote, "Coop does the most deliciously respectful chicken and waffles I've ever had the pleasure to taste. It fries up crispy, juicy and delightfully toothsome. In my experience, the biggest fail in most cases is the waffle. Not here! Crispy, fluffy and flaky with a hint of cheddar and chive. The balance is perfect, neither upstage the other."

Yelper Ryan F. wrote, "I ordered the deviled eggs, buttermilk biscuit and the Lil' Hottie Chicken Sandwich. The fried chicken was slathered in a Buffalo-style sauce, covered in cilantro slaw with homemade pickles and served on a soft bun. It was very good."

Coop is open from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 10 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Eggs and Bakery features a variety of egg dishes, waffles, pancakes and breakfast sandwiches.

Healthy options are also on the menu with açaí, fruit and granola bowls. The bakery section offers croissants and bombolones, an Italian filled doughnut.

The bakery is still finding its way with a current rating of three stars out of 45 reviews on Yelp, but it's still early days.

Yelper Nadjalisse R., who submitted a review on June 1, wrote, "Beautiful and welcoming restaurant. I stopped by for brunch and ordered the eggs Parma Style Benedictine, which was delicious, as was the cortadito!"

Yelper Lyndenise B. said, "Stopped by for breakfast and wasn't really impressed. I really had high hopes for this place. Pros: great location and friendly staff. Cons: limited menu on the weekends. The red velvet waffle was dry and the latte was watered down."

Eggs and Bakery is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday.
