A new outpost of eyewear and optician chain Warby Parker has recently arrived at a space in Midtown's Ice Blocks development at 1710 R St.

The store provides prescription glasses, sunglasses and eye exams, and is in-network with insurance providers UnitedHealthcare and Spectera. For a limited time, it's selling a Sacramento-exclusive pair of glasses in its Downing style with black frames and silver mirrored lenses, as ABC10 recently reported.

Warby Parker has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

"Very modern and stylish," approved Yelper Vonnie T. of both the store itself and the glasses, but added of the prices: "Glasses are good pricing for both frame and basic lenses for people with low prescription, but will get expensive real quick if you have a high prescription."

Yelper Issy D. added of the sunglasses selection, "I loved the vintage vibe of many of the sunglasses. They have great designs and colors. Prices seem to be about average for luxury sunglasses (think Ray-Ban prices). Quality felt nice too!"

Head on over to check it out: Warby Parker is open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. on Sunday.
