Doughnut fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Located at 215 S. Union St. in Old Town, the fresh addition is called B. Doughnut.
The gourmet DC-area chain specializes in malasadas — Hawaiian-Portuguese filled doughnuts — including a savory variation of its own, called an "everything bagel donut."
"Created in 2015 at our first location in Hampden, Baltimore," the site explains. "The Everything Bagel Doughnut. Our malasada, hand-dipped in everything bagel seasoning filled with flavor infused cream cheese." The flavors include chive, bacon and lox.
Vegan doughnut options are also available.
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. B. Doughnut is open from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and 8 a.m.–3 p.m. on weekends. (It's closed on Monday.)
