The Queen and Glass

The Queen and Glass is a cocktail bar offering small plates and spirits that recently opened at 1315 East Blvd., Suite 115, in Dilworth.
Look for duck confit fries, ceviche, flatbreads and herb-crusted lamb medallions, served with garlic fingerling potatoes and whipped Gorgonzola. On the spirits menu, check out Elizabeth of Aragon, made with Titos Vodka, Pama Liquor, simple syrup and lime juice.
Saltao Peruvian Fare

Now open at 7741 Colony Road in south Charlotte is Saltao Peruvian Fare, whose menu reflects the culinary fusion of Peruvian cuisine, developed over a long process of cultural exchange between indigenous peoples, Spaniards, Africans, Chinese, Japanese and Italians.
On the menu, offerings include the saltado, a layer of cold mashed potatoes seasoned with Peruvian yellow pepper, vegetable oil and a hint of lemon, topped with a layer of chicken salad; Peruvian rotisserie chicken; and jalea, a traditional dish of lightly fried seafood and white fish served with a side of golden fried yucca and salsa criolla.
Enderly Coffee Co.

Enderly Coffee Co. is a roastery that offers its ethically sourced coffee at many establishments throughout the region. It recently opened its own shop at 2620 Tuckaseegee Road in northwest Charlotte.
Founded in 2012 by former teachers and co-owners Becky and Tony Santoro, the coffee shop offers free Wi-Fi, a small play area for children and an array of coffees, espressos, teas, smoothies and snacks.
