Seattle magazine's Red, White & Brew festival

Local lushes won't want to miss the annual beer and wine festival at Seattle Center this Friday evening. Now in its seventh year, the festival will offer samples from more than 60 wineries and breweries honored by Seattle magazine's Washington Wine Awards and Beer Awards — including the likes of Abeja, Kerloo Cellars, Fremont Brewing and Silver City Brewery.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to University District Food Bank; guests can also contribute nonperishable food items and donations to the organization.

When: Friday, July 27, 7-10 p.m.
Where:  Seattle Center, Fisher Pavilion, 305 Harrison St.

CoffeeCon Seattle

Coffee enthusiasts: Grab your tickets to CoffeeCon. The two-day festival at Fremont Studios will offer unlimited samples as well as tasting experiences, classes, workshops and demos led by experts in a wide variety of brewing methods.
