Craving coffee and tea? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in Bellevue. The fresh addition to Eastgate, called Cypress Coffee, is located at 3080 148th Ave. SE, Suite 113.

The Eastgate location for Cypress is its second; it also has an outpost in Redmond Ridge. Like the original, it offers "community first" coffee, with a portion of proceeds going back to local nonprofits.

Beans are sourced from Campos Coffee, and used in classic drinks like lattes and macchiatos. There are also blended coffees, hot chocolate, chai and cold brew on draft, as well as a small selection of smoothies.

With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Sarah N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 2, wrote, "Today was my first time in to Cypress Coffee. I wandered in to get some work done while Michael's Toyota worked on my car (love those guys too!) The staff was incredibly welcoming and the coffee was great."

Yelper Cody A. added, “Amazing coffee, excellent food, fun people, and a beautiful cafe. The space has had a major aesthetic renovation since the former Tully's closed and it look amazing inside."

And Todd N. wrote, "The location is a little out of the way, but the coffee is good, the WiFi is fast and they have a garage door-style front window that rolls up to open things up on good weather days."

Head on over to check it out: Cypress Coffee is open from 6 a.m.–7:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 7 a.m.–6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
