The Rib Cage is a Southern-style barbecue joint that has another outpost in Cleveland Heights.

Owned by Robert Hill Jr. and sons Robert III, Ronnell and Brandon, the 3,200-square-foot restaurant is in the space that formerly housed the Orale Contemporary Mexican Kitchen.

The Rib Cage says it prepares its meat using an outdoor smoker with cherry, apple and hickory woods. Specialties include turkey ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket, which can be slathered in a house sauce, like Carolina Mustard Vinegar or Sweet Thai Chili.

Yelper Barry H., who reviewed The Rib Cage on June 6, wrote, "Bartenders are always friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. Hands down the best ribs I've ever had. If you're in Ohio City give this place a try."

The Rib Cage is open from 4 p.m.–2:30 a.m. on Monday-Thursday and 11:30 a.m.–2:30 a.m. on Friday-Sunday.

Foyer is off to a promising start with a current rating of five stars out of four reviews on Yelp.
