A new Indian, Chinese and Thai restaurant has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Everest Kitchen, the fresh arrival is located at 25 N. Main St. in Wendell.

The menu features everything from burgers and sandwiches to fried rice and vegetarian-friendly Indian dishes. Hone in on menu options like tikka masala with either chicken, lamb or shrimp cooked in creamy sauce; chicken, lamb or shrimp curry; or the vegetarian-friendly Navratan Korma, which includes mixed veggies and cottage cheese cooked in creamy sauce. Gary M., who reviewed the new spot on June 29, wrote, "The chicken tenders were a couple chicken breasts cut in half, breaded and deep fried. They were crunchy and very tasty. The side salad was fresh and large. ... The service was attentive and helpful."
