A brand-new spot offering drinks, bar fare and mini golf has debuted in the neighborhood. The newest Flatstick Pub is located at 609 Westlake Ave. North in South Lake Union. This is the company's third and largest location, measuring in at 11,000 square feet.
The pub features rotating taps of Washington-only craft brews with pilsners, blonde ale, Mexican amber lager, Belgian dubbel and dozens more plus ciders and wine. Hungry? On the menu, look for brick-oven pizzas, salads, plates of chicken wings and bar snacks like jalapeño poppers and fried mushrooms.
There is a nine-hole indoor mini golf course with elevation changes and moving kegs as obstacles and the custom game Duffleboard, a mix of shuffleboard and mini golf that features waist-high tables, per its website.
Flatstick Pub is off to a promising start with a four-star rating out of six reviews.
Brendan C., who reviewed it on July 29, wrote, "Great new outpost for Flatstick. It's an amazing upgrade to Pioneer Square. The mini golf course is challenging and a lot of fun. The places seems smaller so I can see it being harder to get access to the games. However, they have some board games to keep your table entertained."
Yelper Daniel F. wrote, "Version 3.0 should be on the cover of mini golf magazines all over the world. The art is top notch, the food selection is great and they are bringing a night life to SLU that has been lacking."
Flatstick Pub is open 11 a.m.–midnight Sunday–Thursday and 11 a.m.–2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Happy hour is 3–6 p.m. weekdays.
