3 Hermanas is a Mexican eatery at 3260 J St., Suite B. It's the brainchild of long-time Three Sisters executive chef Dora Saenz, as we recently reported.

Diners will find the plenty of Mexican comfort food classics like chile relleno, carnitas, and taco plates on the menu, most served as a combo with rice and beans. There are a variety of veggie dishes too, including enchiladas, fajitas and chile poblano with queso fresco.

3 Hermanas' current Yelp rating of 3.5 stars out of ten reviews indicates a generally positive reception for the new restaurant in its early days.

"Place is colorful and the food is just like Tres Hermanas," wrote Yelper Jason G., who reviewed the new spot on June 6. "I love the combo plates and the ceviche!"

But Yelper Jarrod R. criticized the price points and called the enchiladas, "Good, but far from anything I'd consider special."

3 Hermanas is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Saturdays.)

Union

Union is a gym offering boxing and yoga group fitness classes from its space at 3400 Folsom Blvd. Boxing classes are available six days a week, while yoga sessions happen on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The form of yoga offered at Union is called Buti, which the gym's website describes as "movement based power yoga" that involves "cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movements and muscle conditioning." (You can view the full class schedule and sign up for classes here.)

Yelp users are cheering on Union, which currently holds five stars out of eight reviews on the site.

Yelper Genny G. wrote, "I took the boxing class here and it was amazing! I would describe it as a high energy, fast paced, calorie burning workout. The instructor had you moving the whole 40 min. ... I would also like to make a point of saying that I felt very welcomed when I walked in."

"The pace is perfect for people at all levels, whether you've been boxing for a while or are a complete newbie (like me)," Yelper Megan L. agreed. "I've never once felt judged or wrong-footed in this environment while being pushed to work my hardest."

Union offers classes mornings and evenings Monday-Thursday, and mornings only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check out the full class schedule or call 916-410-8100 for exact hours.

Wing's Restaurant is a Chinese eatery located at 3653 J St. It offers dine-in, takeout and delivery options for the surrounding area.

On the menu, look for dishes like the hot braised chicken wings and eggplant in spicy garlic sauce, which recently earned Wing's a positive writeup from the Sacramento News & Review. Other house specialties on the menu include the orange-flavored eggplant, walnut prawns and black pepper beef.

Diners can order online through the business's website or through Yelp, and in addition to deliveries made through the Caviar service, delivery directly from the restaurant is available with orders of $25 or more.

Wing's has already earned a flock of fans, with 4.5 stars out of 53 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Carly B., who reviewed the restaurant on April 27, wrote, "Their food was so reasonably priced and had great portions. Walnut prawns were delicious and the black pepper beef was perfect."

"I had the broccoli beef, that actually had fresh broccoli, and meat that was cut decently," Yelper Greg J. approved. "This is definitely my go to delivery from now on."

Wing's Restaurant is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Thursday-Tuesday. (It's closed on Wednesday.)
