A new French restaurant, offering seafood and more, has opened for business in the neighborhood. The new addition to Fremont, called Le Coin, is located at 4201 Fremont Ave. North. It replaces Roux, a Creole-Cajun restaurant, and is helmed by chef Josh Delgado, the former chef at Alderbrook Resort and Spa, per Eater Seattle.

This spot is open for dinner and has a wide selection of domestic and international red and white wines on offer by the glass or by the bottle. Notable menu options include hazelnut and garlic ravioli with ricotta; seared salmon with summer vegetables and oil served with warm bread; and octopus with chicken thigh, watercress and citrus jam. Happy hour is available from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Check out the full menu here.

Le Coin has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.

Martin M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 19, wrote, "My wife and I came two days after Le Coin's opening. The service was far better than expected for so soon after the opening (in fact, it was excellent) ... We really enjoyed the food. The octopus entree was really well balanced with the chicken thigh and lemon."

Yelper John O. added, “Incredible all around. Joshua Delgado continues to open quality restaurants that enlighten our tastebuds and indulge our senses. This is a must try!”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Le Coin is open from 4–10 p.m. Tuesday–Friday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. and 5–10 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4–9 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
