Stroll past 474 N. Federal Highway in Victoria Park and you'll find Press and Grind Cafe, a new juicery and coffee bar featuring fresh baked goods and healthful fare.

Coffee comes from a local roaster, and juices are squeezed on the spot. You can have avocado toast three different ways: with cilantro and pine nuts; tomato and feta; or pomegranate salsa. Salads and açaí bowls are also available, as are various sandwiches and wraps.

Spatch Peri-Peri Grilled Chicken

New to Flagler Village is Spatch Peri-Peri Grilled Chicken, located at 468 N. Federal Highway. It has a second location in Coral Ridge.

Peri-peri chicken is a southern African specialty made with the African bird's-eye chile. The chicken is spatchcocked — split and flattened — then marinated in the peri-peri sauce and grilled over open flames. Spatch offers it up in a range of heats. Round out your meal with sides such as rice and beans, sweet and spicy kale and grilled corn on the cob. Outdoor seating is available.
