If coffee and tea are what you're after, look no further than this new business. Located at 3201 Walnut St., Suite 101 in Five Points, the new addition is called Improper City.
According to its website, the spot offers an ever-rotating, curated mix of the city’s finest food trucks, craft drinks, local music, live art and community-led events.
On the drinks menu, check out the Firestone Walker Easy Jack Session IPA for a dry-hopped, malty, balanced beer. For a West Coast, fruit-forward option, try the Station 26 Juicy Banger. For another fruit-focused beer, try the Green Flash West Coast IPA, made with pine, tropical and grapefruit zest.
With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new cocktail bar is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Sadie B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 23, wrote, "This place is lit. Seating is versatile and spacious, decorations are beyond trendy and there is even a phone room for business calls! On days I work remotely I will definitely be coming here as there is coffee and such during the day, and then beers and cocktails for the evenings and nights."
Yelper John S. added, “They have a good selection on tap and in cans, as well as sake, cocktails, wine and a coffee shop. I like the decor, lots of shades of gray, subtle remodeled warehouse look.”
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Improper City is open from 7 a.m.–midnight on weekdays, 8 a.m.–midnight on Saturday and 8 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.
