There's a brand-new La Parisienne French Bakery in Bellevue. Located downtown at 288 106th Ave. NE, the newcomer offers a variety of French breads, pastries and desserts as well as coffee and lunch fare. Its original location is in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood.
Look for freshly baked baguettes, croissants and quiche along with caffeinated beverages like espresso, cappuccino, mocha and drip coffee. There is seating to dine in or customers can take their items to go.
La Parisienne also offers a pop-up wine bar called Happy Thursdays. Stop by for French wine and pair it with chef Patrick Morin's small bites menu. More information can be found at the bakery's website.
With a four-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the new spot has made a promising start.
Flora C., who reviewed it on July 15, wrote, "This La Parisienne is the same as the Belltown location but with more to offer. ... This is a sizable bakery with a wine wall and nice seating."
Yelper Gary K. added, “Nice, new upscale bakery in Bellevue. Opens early and closes late. With racks of wine, I suspect that's what it's going to be after dark. Good selection of pastries and croissants for breakfast.”
