Sandwich fans, take heed — there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Located at 1808 Blake St. in LoDo, the fresh arrival is called Pony Up.
The menu features a selection of French dip sandwiches in various forms, including the Saigon, with lemongrass pork, cilantro, basil and jalapeños; and the Alameda Street classic, made with sea salt, rosemary, mayonnaise and beef jus.
Cocktail offerings include the Grande Macha-Colada, mixed with aged rum, coconut cream, pineapple and mocha green tea; and the Mezcizzle My Swizzle, made with mezcal, green chartreuse, honey and lime.
The new bar and eatery has earned an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
"Well, I'd give this place 10 stars if I could," Yelper Robert F. said. "The old space has not been transformed that much, but seems much calmer and more contemporary than the original. The food menu is short and sweet, and there are lots of interesting cocktails."
Yelper Lisa A. added, “Everything was perfect. The drinks, the staff, the food — so excited for this restaurant."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Pony Up is open from 11:30 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.
