A new Thai spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Kin Dee, the new arrival is located at 2301 E. Madison St. in the Central District.

At the new spot, expect menu options like fried tofu; the lamb mushroom salad with lime juice, roasted rice, chili and mint; and the Hot Basil entree  with choice of protein, mixed veggies, garlic and a fried egg. Check out the full menu here.

With a four-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Kin Dee has gotten a good response.

Yva N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 28, wrote, "Went to their soft opening and ended up really enjoying it! So I am excited for their real opening. The dishes are flavorful, and not too spicy. We went on the safe side and got level 2s, but next time I would easily go for a level 3-4 since I do like it a little spicy."

And Raymond T. added, “The half duck had a crispy skin and explosive flavor! The pumpkin curry was reminiscent of some Indian curries but also loaded with flavor and packed with pumpkin."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Kin Dee is open from noon–9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and noon–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
