Looking to satisfy your appetite for Greek fare?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top Greek restaurants around Fort Worth, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce (which may or may not be tzatziki) to produce a ranked list of where to meet your needs.

1. Aladdin Cafe

Topping the list is Aladdin Cafe. Located at 10138 N. Crowley Road, the Mediterranean, Greek and Lebanese spot is the highest rated Greek restaurant in Fort Worth, boasting five stars out of 113 reviews on Yelp.

Its menu includes dishes like spanakopita (phyllo pastry stuffed with spinach and feta cheese), falafel (deep-fried chickpeas and vegetables blended with spices and served with tahini sauce), chicken shawarma served with pita and two sides, gyro and more. (See the full menu here.)

Christine D. wrote, "I tried the beef kebab and chicken shawarma and they are fabulous. The meat is so tender it melts in your mouth and is seasoned beautifully. The entrees came with two sides and pita bread. Portions are very generous and, with the sides, if you're hungry after it's your own fault."

2. Opa! Mediterranean Cafe

Next up is West Seventh Street District's Opa! Mediterranean Cafe, situated at 2708 W. Seventh St. With 4.5 stars out of 93 reviews on Yelp, the Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Greek spot has proven to be a local favorite.

Included on its menu are pita sandwiches, salads and platters. Notable dishes include the beef souvlaki pita sandwich, the lamb and beef gyros platter and the spanakopita. (See the full menu here.)

Yelper William H. said, "Opa's serves excellent fast-casual Greek food. I love the pastitsio, souvlaki and gyros. The food is great, the staff is dedicated to the customers and the service is fast. I eat in, but they are very takeout friendly as well."

3. Pak-A-Pocket

Pak-A-Pocket, located at 5512 Bellaire Drive S., Suite D, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Mediterranean, Greek and Lebanese spot 4.5 stars out of 58 reviews.

Menu items include the kafta (ground beef, chopped parsley and spices served with lettuce, tomato and chips), the tabbouleh and the baba ghanoush (charcoaled ground eggplant with lemon, sesame seed oil and garlic). (See its full menu here.)

Victoria P., who reviewed it on March 14, wrote, "Had the gyro pocket and it was delicious! I'll definitely order with more sauce on the side, but this place does hit the spot when I'm craving a gyro. The pita chips are yummy too."

Yelper Nicole S. said, "The gyros were great and a pretty good size. The price is reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wasn't familiar with Greek food, so they explained some of the menu items to me."

It's a fast-casual spot that focuses mainly on gyro sandwiches and other quick bites, including the South of the Border gyro, chicken souvlaki, the super gyro, falafel and more.
