Searching for a new coffee bar to check out? Look no further than Queen City Collective Coffee. Located at 305 W. First Ave. in Baker, the business also has a roasting room on Fourth Avenue.

"Our coffee comes from farmers and producers we know, and is then small-batch roasted in the city we love," the company says on its website.

Four types of roasts are on offer and if you sign up for a coffee subscription, you will get the beans delivered straight to your doorstep.

Westword reports the business was started two years ago by brothers Luke, Scott and Eric Byington after years spent working on humanitarian programs and rural development in Africa. Now, the roastery has made it a priority to partner with women farmers when possible in Africa and Central America.

Queen City Collective Coffee has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Lauren M., who reviewed the new spot on June 26, wrote, "Amazing! We went in the day after they opened. It was a really open location with couches and tables and a small patio with bar stools. We chatted some with the staff who were so kind and friendly."

And Kelli L. wrote, "Fantastic new coffee shop in Baker. The barista was so friendly and made a beautiful latte. Happy to have this new shop in the neighborhood!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Queen City Collective Coffee is open from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. daily.
