Meyvn
901 W. Lake St., Uptown

Meyvn is a New American breakfast and brunch spot that comes courtesy of chef Adam Eaton and restaurateur Tim Niver. This offering serves bagels, deli sandwiches, oysters and more.
According to Eater Twin Cities, the goal of this restaurant is to "explore Jewish cuisine through the lens of fine dining in a restaurant that is mainly counter service."
Look for small plates of latkes, falafel and monkey bread made with challah. The full-service bar serves beer, wine and cocktails.
With a four-star Yelp rating out of 10 reviews, Meyvn has been getting positive attention.
"Wonderful chewy bagel. Not the soft white hamburger buns usually passed off in Minnesota as bagels," wrote Yelper Tim S. "The potato salad is fantastic. Creamy, salty and dill-licious!"
Yelper Briana H. added, “I was excited to try the new bagel spot and it didn't disappoint. The Montreal-style bagel is a bit softer yet still had a little bit of an outside crunch, very good!"
Meyvn is open from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 7 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Wednesday.)
The Bungalow Club
4300 E. Lake St., Longfellow

Try small plates like tuna crudo with potato, olive and rhubarb or meatballs with zucchini, pine nuts and raisins to start. Pasta dishes include rigatoni, bigoli and more. Pair your meal with a whiskey sour with lemon and egg white; a mezcal mule with lime and ginger; or the Martinez with Dampfwerk gin and orange.
The Bungalow Club currently holds 3.5 stars out of 11 reviews on Yelp, indicating fair reviews.
Yelper Sheila S., who reviewed it on May 14, wrote, "The inside was gorgeous. The wood floors, the layout, the sun shining through, the high ceilings — beautiful bar, nice patio."
Yelper Sandra P. wrote, "We had the smorgasbord appetizer, which was delicious and plentiful. My tortelli with peas was like spring in a bowl. The drinks were great and service very friendly."
The Bungalow Club is open from 4–11 p.m. on Tuesday-Saturday and 4–9 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
Hideaway Burger Bar

The eatery's offerings come in two menus: Hamburgers and Not Hamburgers. Check out burgers like a bacon cheeseburger topped with special sauce; the Bourgeois with prime beef, caramelized onion and garlic, bacon and cherry aioli; or the Hideaway Hangover with a sunny-side up egg and secret sauce.
