Button

2723 Lighthouse Point East, Canton

Button is a cocktail bar and traditional American spot in the former Canners Row location. The open-air restaurant offers diners views of the waterfront, while the kitchen serves up seafood (fried shrimp with grits, linguini with lump crab) and wood-fired pizzas, among other choices. Drinks include cocktails like the River City (mezcal, Aperol, agave nectar, fresh lemon juice and grapefruit bitters) and the Slipknot (Hendricks gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon juice and grapefruit bitters). Red and white wine, and beer on tap or in bottles or cans, are also at your fingertips.

With a three-star Yelp rating out three reviews, Button is still finding its way, but it's early days.

Tracy W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 6, wrote, "The stars are mostly for the ambiance and the service. The portions are on the smaller side, which is a bit frustrating considering the price. But the view (both on the deck and the patio) are pretty solid."

Yelper Jimmy S. added, “The drink that I had was great, but they need to get the front of house in order. Waited an hour for our table come to find out we were just forgotten about. Hoping it's just a one-time issue.”

Button is open from 5 p.m.–11 p.m. daily.

Duck Duck Goose Baltimore is a brasserie and cocktail bar from the owners of the Bethesda restaurant of the same name. Cocktails include Elixer de La Vie, with vodka, ruby red grapefruit, lemon and basil, and Le Petit Mort made from Bulleit Bourbon, muddled strawberry, lemon and lime, and ginger beer. The weekend brunch includes bottomless mimosas to go with the likes of poached eggs on toast and Nutella-stuffed French toast. For dinner, expect ratatouille and chicken Forgione alongside cauliflower steak and roasted Japanese eggplant.

Duck Duck Goose Baltimore's current Yelp rating of 4 stars out of five reviews indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper David L., who reviewed Duck Duck Goose Baltimore on July 7, wrote, "Service was off the charts, food far exceeded expectations, and vibe was fantastic."

Louisa T. noted, "Our dining experience was not bad, but the food was bland and lacked depth. The bread was cold and chewy. There are too many good choices in Baltimore to put up with boring food."

Duck Duck Goose Baltimore is open from 3 p.m.–1 a.m. on Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m.–1 a.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m.–midnight on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)

The Regal Beagle

3123 Elliot St., Canton

The Regal Beagle in southeast Canton serves old-school cocktails like the Old Fashioned, Bees Knees and Sherry Cobbler. But its most impassioned customers opt for tiki concoctions like the Oaxacan Colada (mezcal, green chartreuse, coconut cream, pineapple and lime) and "staff picks" such as the Night Creeper (tomcat gin, lavender, Cocchi Americano, lemon and egg white). Wine and seasonal rotating drafts are also on the drink menu. Small plates (ahi tuna poke, sautéed mushroom buttons) and entrees like a vegetarian stir fry are also available.

The Regal Beagle's current rating of 4.5 stars out of 10 reviews on Yelp indicates positive attention from users.

Mike B., who reviewed the new spot on May 20, wrote, "I was super impressed. Cocktails were delicious and the price point is excellent. I'm greedy — I don't want this place to get swamped and want to keep it a secret, but at the same time I want this place to do very well."

Yelper Joseph A. added, “Great atmosphere and great bartenders. Food was great quality as well. The prices are legit and they have little games to play as well!”

The Regal Beagle is open from 4 p.m.–1 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday and Monday.)
