There's a brand-new cocktail bar and eatery in town. The fresh addition to Dilworth, called The Queen and Glass, is located at 1315 East Blvd., Suite 115. The spot offers small plates and crafted cocktails and is helmed by chef Deacon Ovall and manager Reid Clayton.
Start your meal with ceviche — sashimi tuna marinated with pineapple, tequila, jalapeño, red onion, lime and cilantro, and served with plantain chips. The small-plates menu includes herb-crusted lamb medallions with garlic fingerling potatoes, whipped Gorgonzola, roasted tomato, snap beans, apple cider glaze and micro arugula.
The spot offers an array of libations, including Elizabeth of Aragon, made with Titos Vodka, Pama Liquor, simple syrup and lime juice. Or try Catherine the Great — New Amsterdam gin mixed with muddled watermelon, Thai basil syrup and lime and topped with soda.
Queen and Glass currently has one review from Megan M.
She wrote, "The service was very personable and prompt. We ended up getting the fries and all the shareable plates, minus the ceviche. It was all very fresh and tasted great. The cocktails were great too."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. The Queen and Glass is open from 5 p.m.–midnight on Tuesday-Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
