The Rib Cage Smokehouse, a popular local bar and restaurant, has opened a new outpost in Ohio City at 1830 W. 25th St. Offering barbecue and more, the original location has been a fixture in Cleveland Heights since 2012, reports Cleveland.com.
Come hungry and get ready for classic barbecue offerings like beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken, pork spare ribs, St. Louis-style pork ribs and pork rib tips. The restaurant also serves up not-so-traditional fare like fried alligator tail bites, tamales, fried green tomatoes, tilapia and grilled, blackened or Cajun orange roughy with seasonal fries.
The Rib Cage Smokehouse has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.
"The bartenders are always friendly and attentive and the food is amazing," wrote Barry H., who reviewed the new spot on June 28. "Hands down the best ribs I've ever had. If you're in Ohio City give this place a try."
