A new taco destination has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Vida Taco Bar, the new arrival is located at 1401 Point St. in Harbor Point. It's the restaurant group's third location, replicating the classic and creative fare that can be found at the Annapolis and Severna Park outposts.

Fillings include traditional options like chorizo, carne asada and fried fish as well as cauliflower with Buffalo barbecue sauce, Jamaican jerk mahi-mahi and pork belly with house-made kimchi. Tacos come wrapped in flour or corn tortillas or in bibb lettuce. Round out your meal with shareable plates of ceviche, nachos or guacamole.

The Vida margarita leads the drinks menu, which also includes other agave-based cocktails, the beer-and-spicy tomato juice michelada and a long list of sipping tequilas.

The fresh arrival has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

R. Sam M., who reviewed the new spot on July 19, wrote, "This place is super. Tacos are creative, delicious and reasonably priced. The ceviche (essentially a poke with tuna and avocado) was outstanding."

Yelper Kojo B. added, “Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and filling. I see why they have a loyal following in the burbs. I have no doubt that they will thrive.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Vida Taco Bar is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
