Vegans and lovers of plant-based fare, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called Broadfork Cafe, the new addition is located at 111 Queen Anne Ave. North, Suite 102 in Lower Queen Anne.

This is the second location for Broadfork, which also has an outpost in the University District. Like the original, the focus is on "high-quality, delicious vegan food that is highly organic, truly local, truly sustainable, and true to our community."

Menu options include a barbecue pulled jackfruit sandwich, a miso salad bowl, and a grilled "cheese" with kimchi. There are also build-your-own smoothies and juices, as well as premade options like the Drink Your Kale! with banana, kale, mango and coconut milk.

The new cafe has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Cherry L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 11, wrote, "Wow, I was incredibly impressed by the service and the quality (and deliciousness) of the food here. I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I still loved and was satiated by the lunch options."

Yelper Mara D. added, “Lower Queen Anne really needed a health-conscious cafe that supports other local companies. They have coffee, smoothies, juice, bowls, salad, breakfast, and desserts, including great peanut butter cookies!"

Head on over to check it out: Broadfork Cafe is open from 7 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekends.
