Celtic Thunder's Colm Keegan at Ballard Homestead

Multi-award winning Irish singer Colm Keegan takes the stage at Ballard Homestead this Sunday evening. The Dubliner is best known as one of the principal singers with Celtic Thunder. The 20-something-year-old started his musical career at just 4-years-old, as a chorister in Dublin’s Palestrina Choir. Since then, he's won multiple competitions, toured the world with various choral ensembles, earned one of Billboard’s World Artist of the Year awards with Celtic Thunder and much more.

JAH9 at Nectar Lounge

Inspired by 1970s Jamaican roots music, JAH9 "sings with a voice that belies the dimensions of her physical body, from a soul much older than its current vessel." Her signature spiritual style is characterized as "jazz on dub" and evokes comparisons to jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. The artist-activist-yoga practitioner has been staple on Jamaica’s underground poetry scene by 2009, and has been appearing at major nightclubs and music festivals throughout the US and Europe since 2013.
