China Gourmet offers fresh live seafood at market price, as well as a dim sum cart filled with steamed or fried dumplings with various fillings. Private rooms, feature karaoke, are also available for those seeking a more intimate dining experience.

China Gourmet's current Yelp rating of three stars out of nine reviews indicates mixed reviews thus far.

Yelper Sean B., who reviewed China Gourmet on August 11, said, "Can honestly say this is the best Chinese food that I have ever had outside of a meal in Hong Kong. Service was fast, portions large, taste was fantastic."

And Yelper Dean M. wrote, "The dim sum was underwhelming... We were served dim sum that might've tasted great but didn't because it was either cold or lukewarm (shrimp balls, pork buns, congee, etc.)."

Though Susan S. noted, "This place opened for awhile, and the food was good. Then it closed and reopened with a limited menu. I ordered General Tso chicken and got a giant pile of rice, four pieces of plain broccoli and a pile of chunky dry chicken nuggets sitting in a small puddle of duck sauce."
