Anthem Coffee continues to expand in the Tacoma area with its newest cafe and coffee shop. Located at 5005 Main St., Suite 105, at Point Ruston, the new addition is the company's fifth location with a sixth coming soon.
The small locally based chain offers caffeinated beverages and small bites. Look for favorites such as an americano, macchiato or Cuban espresso, or opt for the latte frappe, a shake or smoothie. Several specialty coffees and teas are also on offer.
Hungry? Housemade pastries like scones and a cream cheese cinnamon roll are available along with a menu featuring a turkey, cheddar and bacon sandwich, vegan black bean hash, naan bread pizzas and sweet potato fries. Check out the website for a full menu and for more information.
The fresh addition has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Eddie J., who reviewed the new spot on July 18, wrote, "Great coffee, friendly service and a comfortable gathering place to meet friends. Located in Point Ruston in the Copperline Building, this is a great spot to grab a coffee and walk the waterfront."
