A new spot to score bubble tea has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Kung Fu Tea, the newcomer is located at 10100 Twin Rivers Road, C117, in Columbia.

The New York-based chain has locations in four countries, where it serves up Taiwanese tea in myriad forms. There are milk teas, the fruity-sweet punch, frozen slushes and more. Choose toppings like mung bean, pudding, tapioca or popping bubbles, and then let the server know how sweet you want it.

Kung Fu Tea has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp.

Yajie B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 3, wrote, "I accidentally dropped my drink on the floor. It was my fault but the staff told me not to worry at all and made me a new drink for free, and also cleaned the floor up really quickly. They are so nice! The drinks were prefect."

Yelper Angel H. added, “Great customer service, perfect mix of strong tea and milk, just the way I like it. I'm in love with the hardwood floors and chairs. Modern, chic decor with bright lighting and a nice selection of games.”

Head on over to check it out: Kung Fu Tea is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
