Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top yoga spots around Charlotte, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're searching for a place to practice yoga.
1. Yoga One
Topping the list is Yoga One. Located at 1318 Central Ave., Suite D2 in Elizabeth, this is the highest-rated yoga spot in Charlotte, boasting 4.5 stars out of 94 reviews on Yelp. The establishment offers 70 classes every week, including power flow, power beats, slow flow, slow flow beats, meditation classes, prenatal classes, mommy and mini classes, monthly workshops and teacher trainings, per its website.
"I am so happy to have found Yoga One. The instructors are kind, smart and helpful," wrote Yelper Maeve G. "Everyone who attends class is respectful. They have classes that can work with almost any schedule. They will help out beginners and challenge veterans."
2. Air Aerial Fitness
Next up is Eastover's Air Aerial Fitness, situated at 1043-C Providence Road. With five stars out of 25 reviews on Yelp, the barre class, yoga and aerial fitness spot has proven to be a local favorite. For those who are unfamiliar, Air is an intense aerial fitness training program fusing elements of conditioning, Pilates, ballet and HIIT (high intensity interval training) on aerial hammocks.
Classes include Air Foundation: a 50-minute beginner class that introduces new clients to aerial exercises on hammocks, emphasizing basic alignment, foundation and specific muscle action.
