1. Miro Spanish Grille

Topping the list is Miro Spanish Grille. Located at 12239 N. Community House Road, Suite 102 in Ballantyne, the steakhouse is the highest-rated Spanish restaurant in Charlotte, boasting four stars out of 184 reviews on Yelp.
Here's a sampling of the menu: appetizers include Spanish ham croquettes and sautéed shrimp in garlic and olive oil. House specials include Paella Valenciana, a traditional Spanish recipe with a combination of shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams and calamari with Spanish rice.

2. Bulla Gastrobar

Next up is South Park's Bulla Gastrobar, situated at 4310 Sharon Road. With 4.5 stars out of 34 reviews on Yelp, the small plates Spanish spot, which has multiple locations, has proven to be a local favorite.
Tapas include ceviche — made with shrimp, fish, roasted jalapeño, fresh lime, orange and plantain chips — and ahi tuna with mango, avocado, soy sesame vinaigrette and Sriracha aioli. 3. Arepas Grill

Starmount's Arepas Grill, located at 4740 Old Pineville Road, Suite A, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Venezuelan, Spanish and Basque spot four stars out of 69 reviews. Menu items include a yellow cornmeal arepa with cheese; scrambled eggs with tomatoes and green onions; and filled white corn cake with shredded chicken with onion and avocado.
