A new Japanese spot, offering ramen and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Engimono Ramen & Izakaya, the new arrival is located at 300 N.E. Northgate Way in Northgate.
Look for notable ramen menu options like tan tan ramen with pork broth, bamboo, egg, scallions and mushroom or the vegetarian ramen with fried tofu, spring mix and bamboo served in chicken broth. Udon bowls are also on offer, as are carnivorous and vegetarian rice bowls, appetizers, salads and curries.
The new addition has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Susan W., who reviewed the new spot on July 23, wrote, "I ordered tan tan ramen with black garlic and miso ramen. They were good! Give it a try!"
And Nathan H. wrote, "This my third visit. I gotta say I love this place especially for the appetizers and curry ramen. The other ramens are pretty good too if you want something other than Kizuki. But the appetizers really gave me that izakaya feel."
Engimono Ramen & Izakaya is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
