Grand Concourse 40th Anniversary Extravaganza

The Gilded Age-themed Grand Concourse restaurant is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a gala featuring a strolling dinner with three included drinks, live entertainment and prize drawing. It will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation.

Yoga Alliance Listening Tour — Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Yoga Alliance, a standards and credentialing organization for yoga teachers and studios, is hosting a "listening event" by President and CEO David Lipsius and COO Shannon Roche to talk about how the organization is changing to better meet community needs and to request guidance and feedback.

Steel Tahn Tiki Cruise

The Pittsburgh chapter of the  United States Bartenders Guild is holding a fundraiser on the Explorer Riverboat to benefit Rivers of Steel, a nonprofit focused on heritage tourism, community partnerships and educational initiatives. 

Tickets include a four-hour river cruise with unlimited craft tiki cocktails, barbecue, a keepsake tiki mug, and the chance to enjoy some Pittsburgh Pirates fireworks from the boat.

When: Saturday, August 18, 7:30 p.m.- Sunday, August 19 12 a.m.
