Craving doughnuts? You're in luck: General Porpoise has opened the doors to its fourth Seattle branch. The new arrival to Laurelhurst is located at 4520 Union Bay Place NE.

The shop uses fresh eggs to create its doughnuts and fills them with seasonal jams, jellies, curds, custards and creams. Classic flavors like vanilla custard and lemon curd are on offer, as are peaches and cream, chocolate marshmallow and nectarine jam.

Thirsty? Grab a fresh-roasted coffee or espresso to pair with your sweet treat. Check out the website here for more information.

It's still early days for General Porpoise, which has just three reviews on Yelp thus far.

George P., who reviewed the new spot on July 29, wrote, "General Porpoise does only a few things, but does them well: 1. Soft, pillowy doughnuts filled with a variety of creams and jams. 2. A variety of coffee drinks. 3. The occasional homemade soda."

Head on over to check it out: General Porpoise is open from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. daily.
