Craving seafood? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new arrival to the mezzanine level of Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave. NE) is called Legal Sea Bar.

The eatery features a slimmed-down version of Legal Sea Foods' menu, its parent restaurant, with an emphasis on quickly cooked options, reports Eater Washington DC.

Offerings include starters like clam chowder coconut shrimp, shrimp cocktail and crab cake. There are also sandwiches such as a lobster roll and a blackened salmon Reuben, poke bowl and fish and chips. Entrees include baked haddock stuffed with creamy lump crabmeat and a lobster casserole.

A full bar is available, with wine, beer and cocktails like the Sea Bar Sangria made with Spanish red wine, raspberry and citrus rums, Merlet Crème de Peche, lemon-lime soda and fresh fruit.

It's still early days for the fledgling business — it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.

Thomas N., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 10, wrote, "The clam chowder came out in less than five minutes, which was amazing since I was pretty hungry. The chowder was nice and creamy but not too thick. So when I added my crackers it became a good consistency. The legal fry basket was huge."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Legal Sea Bar is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday–Saturday and noon–6 p.m. on Sunday.
