A new casual Chinese restaurant has made its debut in the University District. Called Little Kitchen, the newcomer is located at 4508 University Way NE and serves noodle dishes, snacks and dumplings.
On the menu, offerings include steamed pot stickers, green onion pancakes, wonton noodle soup, cold noodles with peanut butter sauce and spicy noodle seafood. Or opt for a plate of Shandong roasted chicken with garlic sauce, sweet and sour pork or green onion beef.
It's still early days for the restaurant, which has a 3.5-star rating based on four reviews on Yelp.
Tony A., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 10, wrote, "I like to stop in here every so often for some delicious cold noodles in peanut butter sauce and pork wontons with chili oil. Usually a quick lunch. Though, on my visit today, there was a line out the door."
Yelper CJ B. added, “A real mom-and-pop operation with super friendly service and very good food. We had the dumplings, the pot stickers and the wontons in chili oil, followed by the cold udon noodles and the chicken with garlic sauce and vegetables. All were good but the dumplings and noodles were exceptional.”
Little Kitchen's hours were not available at time of publication.
