Reid's Fine Foods has opened the doors to a new store in uptown Charlotte. Located at 121 W. Trade St., Suite 150, it's the specialty grocer's third store in the city, featuring a meat shop, wine bar and more.
The grocery store carries meats, wines, regional provisions, locally grown produce and seasonally fresh meals and gift baskets. Visitors can dine in with the deli and wine bar, or pick up quick takeout items from the prepared foods case and butcher shop. This location also features breakfast offerings (quiche, avocado toast, fried chicken biscuit, among others) not available at its other outposts.
Craving sweets? Reid's offers an array of cupcakes, brownies, cakes (chocolate, caramel, white chocolate, red velvet, coconut, birthday and more), pies, cookies, banana pudding and other pastries.
The new addition has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Jennifer F., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 1, wrote, "I got the chicken salad sandwich. It was a wonderful sandwich — extremely creamy and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of chicken salad that was on the sandwich; they definitely do not skimp on the contents! Everything was also extremely fresh and high quality."
Yelper Neema B. added, “Cute little specialty dining store. Offers sandwiches, soups, salads and lots of snacks. Prices are reasonable, average for uptown.”
Head on over to check it out: Reid's Fine Food is open from 7 a.m.–4 p.m. from Monday-Thursday and 7 a.m.–3 p.m. on Friday. (It's closed on weekends.)
