Nothing beats tea — and if you're in the mood to enjoy a cup in Bellevue, we've found a lineup of fresh spots. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for some tea.

Blackbird Seattle is serving up coffee, tea and desserts. Check out caffeinated beverages like espressos, americanos and lattes along with milk and fruit teas.

In search of something fruity? Try tea flavors like Berry Blast, Peach Perfect, Lemon Lime and Orange Delight. Milk tea options include oolong and chocolate cookies. Sweet treats like crepes and cakes are also on offer.

Blackbird Seattle is off to a strong start with a current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of 11 reviews.

Justin L., who reviewed the new spot on July 29, wrote, "Their crepes weren't too heavy or sweet, it was the definition of perfection. We've tried quite a few of their items so far and they're soooo good!"

Yelper Johnny L. added, “This is a hidden gem for now. We tried the Berry Blast fruit tea with boba and the oolong milk tea with boba. I can truly say that the berry blast was made with fruits instead of the fruit syrups that some of the other shops use.”

Blackbird Seattle is open from 7 a.m.–8 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Saturday, and noon–8 p.m. on Sunday.

Happy Lemon is a spot to score bubble tea, juice and smoothies. The international chain has locations from the Unites States to China and specializes in milk teas. Slushies, matcha drinks, bubble waffles and house specialties also line the menu.

Check out notable menu options such as cold brews with rock salt creme, kiwi matcha lattes or green tea with salted cheese. Or try a seasonal offering like the strawberry black tea with lychee jelly. Check out the full list of options here.

Yelpers are generally positive about Happy Lemon, which currently holds four stars out of 61 reviews on the site.

Harry H., who reviewed the shop on July 22, wrote, "Happy Lemon is the best tasting milk tea I ever had, it has so many varieties of flavors to choose from and each is delicious. Especially the Rock Salt Crema series, their best seller, it is so special and delicious."

Yelper Pauli D. added, “I got the milk tea with sea salt cream and an add-on of tapioca. This drink was honestly so much better than I was expecting. The milk tea does not have any aftertaste or leave your mouth feeling as if it's covered in sugar."

Happy Lemon is open from 9:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday.

Mi Tea

Stop by Mi Tea for bubble tea, snacks and smoothies. The China-based tea shop chain has over 1,000 outposts around the globe; this is its third U.S. location. Its specialty is Himalayan pink salted cheese tea drinks with a foam topping.

Other tea offerings include peach oolong, matcha and Formosa black. The shop also offers fruit smoothies and milk teas, like the mango slush and the coconut milk tea with mango pudding.

Emily X., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 30, wrote, "OMG, I have been waiting for this place to open since April! The tea selection is really similar to Xi Tea in China, but Mi Tea has way more selections."

And Annie C. wrote, "Ordered 30 percent sugar cheese covered matcha, but it turned out to be a lot sweeter than my friend's 50 percent sugar cheese covered oolong tea. They were really nice to re-do the matcha for me, however."

Mi Tea is open from 9:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday.
